Discount for Duke employees at ‘Duke Night’ games this season

With the NHL season almost ready for its opening faceoff, Duke employees can catch some of the world’s best players with deeply discounted tickets to Carolina Hurricanes games throughout the 2014-15 season.

Faculty and staff save up to 63 percent on tickets to seven “Duke Night” games hosted by the Hurricanes, who play at PNC Arena in Raleigh. Prices range from $20 for “terrace value” seats up to $55 for lower level tickets, which normally cost $107. Click here for a seating map of PNC Arena.

Tickets are available online on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability for the following games:

2014

  • Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Buffalo Sabres
  • Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. vs. Arizona Coyotes
  • Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. vs. Nashville Predators

2015

  • Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. vs. Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. vs. New York Islanders
  • March 10 at 7 p.m. vs. Columbus Blue Jackets
  • March 17 at 7 p.m. vs. Ottawa Senators

The special pricing for Duke employees expires one week prior to each game’s date. There is a limit of nine tickets per online purchase, but faculty and staff who need 10 or more tickets can call Brian Slais, group sales ticket manager, at (919) 861-5457 or email him at brians@carolinahurricanes.com.
