Duke in Pictures: Employee Holiday Concert

Faculty, staff gather for annual event

About 100 Duke community members and family celebrated the holiday season Tuesday with 16 members of the Duke Medicine Chorus as part of the Duke's Employee Holiday Concert.

Performing a range of holiday songs, the chorus sang in several languages, including Spanish and Zulu, and was joined by concert-goers on several numbers. The chorus is comprised of faculty, staff and students associated with Duke's clinical and medical research areas and was led by Allan Friedman, director of the Duke Medicine Chorus.

"It's a great time to spread cheer and fellowship among our colleagues," said Kyle Cavanaugh, vice president for administration. "What a glorious way to celebrate the holiday season."
