"With a very exciting season ahead, we need the help of Duke faculty and staff to achieve our goal of packing Cameron Indoor Stadium each and every contest," said women's basketball head coach Joanne P. McCallie. "We have one of the greatest home schedules in the history of the program and we are going to be a lot of fun to watch."

As the Blue Devils ready for the regular season tip off on Nov. 10, three preseason polls rank the Blue Devils in their top-three, including a Sporting News position of second overall.

Among the big home games to be played at Cameron Indoor Stadium, the team will host top-ranked University of Connecticut and top-10 teams from the ACC that include University of Maryland, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and Notre Dame.

The Employee Athletic Pass provides four tickets to all 16 home games, which equates to each seat costing only $1.40 per game. Special mini-plans allow fans to get tickets to Duke's game against either UConn or UNC and then any combination of four other home games.

"This year feels like it could be a special year," said Melissa Reese, a research analyst in Duke's Stem Cell Laboratory who has attended Blue Devil games for almost 20 years. "We have a great combination of experienced, talented players and talented, young players that will hopefully take us to the Final Four."

In addition to the expectations for the season, faculty, staff and their families can also find fun during several special game day giveaways at women's basketball games. For Duke's Dec. 17 game against UConn, 5,000 fans will receive a Duke blue Santa Claus hat and get to meet Santa in the Hall of Honor.

During Thursday home games, Duke Athletics will host special "bingo" games where fans receive bingo sheets with different game activities like scoring or defensive plays. By filling up their sheets during the game, fans can win free T-shirts, tickets to other women's basketball games or enter a raffle to win tickets to the ACC tournament in Greensboro or NCAA tournament games hosted at Duke.

To purchase the Employee Athletic Pass, faculty and staff should call the Duke Athletics Ticket Office at (919) 681-2583. Season mini-plans can be purchased online at GoDuke.com.
