With help from the Duke community, four orbs designed by George Hart were assembled and raised high in the atrium of Fitzpatrick CIEMAS. The sculpture, commissioned by math and Duke ECE professor Ingrid Daubechies, will be a permanent exhibit in the building. Hart and Daubechies discuss the project as a time-lapse of the day unfolds.
