At a special discount, Duke staff and faculty can now buy tickets to this Friday's Duke basketball's annual "Countdown to Craziness" event, presented by PNC.

The event features live student performances, highlight videos, sponsored promotions as well as the annual Blue-White scrimmage game and dunk contest between Duke basketball players.

Discounted tickets for employees are $10, more than half-off the $26 regular price. The doors to Cameron Indoor Stadium open at 6:30 p.m., Oct. 18 for Countdown's 8 p.m. start, but fans are invited to come out early for live music, inflatable games and face painting in K-Ville, outside Wilson Recreation Center.

Head men's basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and head women's basketball coach Joanne P. McCallie will both present to the crowd inside Cameron Indoor Stadium.

To buy discounted tickets, visit GoDuke.com, select "Countdown 2 Craziness" and enter the promo code "DUKE" to receive a $10 ticket.

Duke fans that want to keep their excitement going past this week can also take advantage of an additional discount that pairs a ticket to Countdown to Craziness with a ticket for an upcoming Duke football game against North Carolina State University.

For $60, employees receive a ticket to Countdown to Craziness as well as a reserved seating ticket to the Nov. 9 home game against NC State. To receive this discount, faculty and staff must call the Duke Athletics Ticket Office at (919) 681-2583.
