n this look at the 2013 CDS Documentary Video Institute, students describe their experiences in the eight-day intensive course, in which they learned interview skills, camera techniques, lighting, sound, narrative structure, and editing. On the last day, they screened their completed works for the public at the Full Frame Theater in downtown Durham.
