Students for Sustainable Living
Students for Sustainable Living

There are two opportunities for students to work on campus sustainability projects through paid employment with Sustainable Duke for the 2013-2014 academic year. SSL is a paid student corps dedicated to "greening" Duke's campus culture through education and outreach.  Students will learn about current sustainability efforts at Duke and work in a group on an area of campus sustainability that they are passionate about. Recent projects have included the Green Dining Awards, a bike smoothie event, greening LDOC, the Duke Free Store, and more.

Campus Sustainability Fellows

Sustainable Duke's Campus Sustainability Fellows provide assistance to individual Duke schools with sustainability initiatives and assessment. Fellows work with school clients to assess environmental impacts, prioritize sustainability initiatives and educate faculty, staff and students. With guidance from Sustainable Duke, fellows identify, collaborate with and provide resources to staff in the school who are interested and engaged in sustainability and workplace greening. Client schools for 2013-14 include Fuqua, Sanford, Nursing and Trinity. Read more about the CSF program.
