Parking/Transit Advisory: July 4 Holiday
Free parking, but only two campus bus routes to run on Thursday
Duke will make adjustments to parking and transit routes on July 4 for the Independence Day holiday.
Only the C-2 and LaSalle Loop bus routes will have service on July 4, which falls on Thursday. Each route will have one bus running from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. No other routes will have service. All transit routes resume regular summer schedules on Friday, July 5.
Patient and visitor sections of lots and parking garages will be available for free parking on July 4.
On July 5, free parking will continue at Parking Garage 3 and Parking Garage 4. The Eye Center patient and visitor area will operate under its normal schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking Garage 1 and Parking Garage 2 will charge for parking from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Duke's Parking and Transportation Services offices on Campus Drive and Duke Clinic will be closed July 4.
