Freezing Rain Advisory Issued for Sunday Night, Early Monday

Duke plans to operate on a normal schedule Monday

The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory from 9 p.m. Sunday to 9 a.m. Monday. Precipitation is expected to be light, and temperatures will rise above freezing in the morning hours.

At this time, Duke plans to operate on a normal schedule with no changes in classes on Monday. Crews from the University and Health System plan to address any trouble areas as needed. Duke buses are planning to run on a normal schedule, and gates on parking lots and garages will be open until 10 a.m. as a precaution.

Officials will continue to monitor the weather and campus conditions. Check Duke Today for updates if conditions change significantly.
