Celebrate Staff On Administrative Professionals' Day

Celebrate Staff On Administrative Professionals' Day

Working@Duke offers ways to recognize your office or department's support staff

print |

Durham, NC - This Wednesday is Administrative Professionals' Day, an official day to celebrate the work of support staff in the United States.

If you're looking for ways to show appreciation for what administrative assistants provide to your office, department and co-workers at Duke, here are a few ideas:

"Making a Difference" blog

Take time to recognize an administrative professional for making a difference. Use Administrative Professionals' Day as an opportunity to tell the Duke community how your staff member goes above and beyond the expectations of his or her job to help you, a customer or a coworker, and let him or her know how much you appreciate the effort.

Employee Discount Through PERQS

Duke's employee discount program, PERQS, offers faculty and staff special prices on service and entertainment opportunities throughout the Triangle. You can honor your office administrative professional with lunch at one of many local restaurants or surpise him or her with tickets to area movie theaters. Visit the PERQS website for a full listing of special Duke-only discounts.

We encourage Duke faculty, staff and students to share ideas, collaborate and discuss issues on Duke Today. To post a comment, you must log-in with your Duke NetID and password.
