Among the changes, Duke will not run any bus routes Dec. 24-26

Parking and Transportation Services will adjust its transit schedule and
parking lot availability during the holidays.

From Dec. 24 through Dec. 26, Duke will not run any bus routes.

In addition, adjustments will be made to Duke transit schedules
during winter break
from Dec. 19 to Jan. 11. During this time, most bus
routes will provide regular service with the following changes:

  • the C-1 bus route will
    not operate
  • the C-2 route will
    stop service at 9 p.m.
  • weekend campus service will not operate until all
routes return to the regular schedule on Jan. 11.

The LaSalle
Loop
will have regular service from Dec. 27 to 29, but will not run between
Dec. 30 and Jan. 2. During those dates, LaSalle Loop service will stop at 9
p.m. Duke Vans
will also be available on a limited basis between Dec. 27 and Dec. 29.

Parking
at Duke will also be adjusted, allowing for free parking in all patient and
visitor areas of PG1,
PG2, PG3 and the Eye Center Lot
from Dec. 24 to 26.  See garage schedules
and other parking information here.

From Dec. 27 to 29, PG1
and PG2 will
resume normal permitted parking from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. During that time, the Eye Center Lot at
Research Drive Garage
will operate on its regular schedule.  PG3 will
continue to be free.

During Duke's winter break, PG4 will first
have normal permitted parking from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Dec. 19 and 22
before opening for free parking between Dec. 23 and Jan. 2, except for times
when special events occur. Fees will be charged during special events.

The Parking and Transportation Services at 2010 Campus Drive
and Duke Clinics
will be closed from Dec. 23 through Jan. 2 for the Christmas and New Year's
holidays. Regular hours will resume Jan. 3.
