Transit Advisory: Research Drive Circle To Temporarily Close
Duke transit buses will drop off, pick up at alternate location beginning Friday
Certain Duke transit routes will be temporarily adjusted beginning
Friday, Oct. 21, when a water line is installed for Duke South.
During the construction, the
end of Research Drive (referred to as Morgue Circle Entry 11) will be closed to
traffic. The circle will be closed beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and
will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24. The circle will close again at 6 p.m. Friday,
Nov. 4, and reopen at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
Duke Transit will not access the area during these periods.
Passengers traveling on Duke transit routes H-1, H-6, PR-1 and LaSalle Loop
will be dropped off and picked up at the traffic roundabout adjacent to the
Sands and North Buildings when the circle is closed.
