Traffic Advisory: Duke Football Game
North, southbound lanes of NC 147 will reduced to one lane Saturday
Motorists traveling to and from West Campus for Saturday's football game
between Duke and Florida State University should allow for extra drive time
due to construction on NC 147. Fans are encouraged to consider using I-85, I-40, and 15-501 as alternative routes to access campus and avoid lane closures
on NC 147.
Beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday, northbound
NC 147 will be reduced to one lane through 6 a.m. Sunday, impacting post-game traffic. In addition, bridge
repairs are continuing on southbound NC 147, which will be reduced to one lane beginning at 7 p.m. Pre-game and post-game traffic will be affected.
Fans traveling to the game can consider these alternate routes:
General Public should use the following
ingress routes:
- I-85 North or Southbound to Exit 174B for Hillandale Rd
- I-85 Southbound to Exit 174A for 15-501 South to Exit 108A for Morreene
Rd - I-40 East or Westbound to Exit 270 for 15-501 (towards Durham) to Exit
108 A for Morreene Rd
Iron Dukes should use the following
ingress routes:
- I-85 Southbound to Exit 174A for 15-501 South to Exit 107 for NC 751
- I-40 East or Westbound to Exit 270 for 15-501 (towards Durham) to Exit
107 for NC 751
