Each year, tens of thousands of prospective students and
their parents visit Duke University to experience the campus firsthand.

This
summer, they are standing out a little more than usual.

Duke's Office of Undergraduate Admissions recently began giving
visitors Duke-blue stickers highlighting the words, "I Visited Duke." The
stickers make it easier for the Duke community to identify guests and welcome
them to campus.

Information sessions, campus visits, and meetings with
Admissions Officers are all important resources during the college application
process. These interactions play a crucial role when students decide which
college to attend. The stickers will help Duke provide the best experience
possible to students and families during their time on campus.

"The new stickers offer an easy way to identify visitors on
campus and make them feel welcome," said Christoph Guttentag, Dean of Undergraduate
Admissions. "We hope every prospective student and his or her family has a very
positive experience during their time at Duke, and the new stickers will help
the community recognize visitors and greet them warmly."

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions hosts up to three
information sessions and campus tours a day, six days a week throughout the
summer. Last summer, approximately 14,000 people visited Duke University to
take advantage of these programs.

Admissions recently started accepting online registrations
for information sessions and tours to streamline the process.
