Traffic Advisory: Road Work Along Chapel, Flowers and Campus Drives

Motorist should expect delays for the next two weeks when traveling along Chapel Drive, Flowers Drive and Campus Drive as crews work to replace striping of the lanes.Crews will begin work along Chapel Drive at 7 a.m. on Aug. 1 to install thermal plastic striping on the asphalt for center lines, outside lines and turn lanes. Work will continue along Flowers Drive and Campus Drive through Aug. 14."We will be working around the clock, including nights and weekends, to complete this work before the semester starts," said Mike Leezer, construction coordinator for Facilities Management. During the road work, one lane of travel will be open at all times for traffic to move through the work zone. A flagman will be present to help direct traffic in the work zone.
