Transit Advisory: Fourth of July Service Adjustments

Duke Transit will not operate "H" Routes on July 4

Parking and Transportation Services will make free parking available in all patient and visitor areas of Duke garages on Monday, July 4. Access will be comparable to normal weekend parking.

Duke Transit will not operate "H" Routes on the Fourth of July, as close-in parking opportunities will exist for Medical Center staff. The following routes will operate on Independence Day:

  • Route C-2  (East - Central - West): Fifteen-minute service is provided from 7 a.m. until 5:45 p.m. Thirty-minute service will operate until 9 p.m.
  • LaSalle Loop (H Overflow Lot on LaSalle Street to Entry 11, return on Towerview Road and Campus Walk Avenue)
  • Van services will operate a normal schedule

All routes will resume regular schedules on July 5.

The Parking Services Offices at 2010 Campus Drive and Duke South will be closed on July 4, in observance of Independence Day.
