Former President of Argentina to Speak at Duke Feb. 11

Carlos Saul Menem, former president of Argentina, will deliver a keynote speech at Duke University during a two-day symposium examining the economic, social, political and cultural impact of Latin America's role in global business.

"Doing Business in Latin America" takes place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, in Geneen Auditorium at the Fuqua School of Business, and from 1-5:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, at Duke Law School, Room 3037.

Menem, who served as president of Argentina from 1989-1999, will speak at 9 a.m. Feb. 11 on "Latin America as a Global Player."

The symposium is being presented by Fuqua's Latin American Student Association and the law school's Latin American Business Law Association.
