Employees comment on their retirement savings plan
- I'll have to work until they put me on Medicaid.
- I'm 50, and I just started working full time (at Duke) and I don't make enough to pay off my debts and save $20,000/year toward retirement and pay my bills every month!
- I would have been alright, but the idiot Bush screwed things up
- I have enough money with the exception of health insurance
- I know I do not have enough to retire and think about it often and don't know what to do.
- Very poor saving habits. Putting money into retirement plan rather than savings (with low, low interest) makes it hard to access for emergencies.
- Retirement is still 30 years away for me, but I'm saving as much as I can and I'm participating in Duke's 403b plan.
- Not knowing if Social Security will be around when I retire is a concern to me. I want save enough to be completely self reliant just in case Social Security will not be there but I'm not sure if I am saving enough now on my own or investing what I do ha
- Who knows what danger lurks in the dark. Sallie Mae knows!
