ALERT: Duke Student Reports Off-Campus Robbery

The student said she was riding her bike in Trinity Heights when the robbery occurred.

A Duke University student riding her bike off campus reported being robbed Thursday night in Trinity Heights.

The 22-year-old student was riding her bike northbound on Watts Street at 11 p.m. when two men pushed her down near the Green Street intersection, according to a police report.

The student, who was not injured, told police that one of the men held an object that may have been a gun. The men took some of her personal belongings and were last seen running west on Green Street, police said. No arrests have been made.

The incident is being investigated by the Durham Police Department.
