And the Winner Is ....

Duke Today Scavenger Hunt winners announced

Thank you to the 196 people who participated in this first Duke Today Scavenger Hunt. The reaction was very positive, and we hope it helped readers of Duke Today learn more about the features we offer. We hope to run the Scavenger Hunt as an annual contest around Duke Appreciation Month, and because of the positive response, we'll hold other games on occasion throughout the year.

Now for the important news: The drawing for the contest was held in the office of Duke News and Communications. 9 year old Ethan Mock selected the winning ticket out of a black plastic cauldron normally used to collect trick-or-treat candy. And the winner of the 30 GB video iPod was:

Rebecca B. Francisco, assistant to the university registrar

We did select five additional winners of a Duke Today/Working@Duke mug. Those went to

Allison Shultz, Duke Community Bereavement Services

Victoria Lodewick, University Scholars Program

Carol Shoun, Duke Divinity School

Brad Walker, University Plant Accounting

Supriya Munshaw, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics

Thanks again to everyone who participated. Please look out for the next contest. Below are the answers to the 15 questions in the contest:
