New Van Service to SSRI

Van makes trip to Erwin Mill more convenient

Now it's easier to get to the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) and the Duke Interdisciplinary Initiative in Social Psychology (DIISP) at Erwin Mill. It's as simple as catching free van service from campus.

The van is a 15 passenger, free van that runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the week between East Campus, West Campus and Erwin Mill. The van, operated by Charlene's Safe Ride, is free for anyone affiliated with Dukein an effort to encourage people to visit the Erwin Mill facilities for SSRI and DIISP.

The Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) is the interdisciplinary social science research institute of Duke. SSRI's mission is to support pioneering social science research and methods across the social and behavioral sciences.
