Head of Canadian Business Council to Speak

Thomas D'Aquino, the president & CEO of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, will speak on North American security and prosperity

DURHAM, N.C. -- Thomas D'Aquino, the president & CEO of the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, will speak on North American security and prosperity on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Duke University.

The Canadian Council of Chief Executives is an organization comprised of 150 chief executives of major corporations in Canada. Its member companies administer nearly $2 trillion in assets. Canada is North Carolina's largest foreign trading partner.

D'Aquino has played a leading role in the promotion of North American economic integration, including NAFTA. He formerly served as a special assistant to the Prime Minister of Canada and is a prolific author and public commentator.

The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will begin at noon in the R.J. Reynolds Auditorium of the Fuqua School of Business.
