Duke is at the forefront of using technology in new ways to enhance how faculty teach and students learn. Several years ago, it was among the first schools in the country to use iPods in the classroom. Since then, it has pursued numerous educational innovations through the Center for Instructional Technology and other initiatives. The Link, a popular teaching space in the lower level of Perkins Library, exemplifies how Duke is using new technology to expand the horizons of how education unfolds both in and out of the classroom.
