Duke is an increasingly global university, with international programs and activities in dozens of countries. Duke students and faculty members take advantage of an ever-expanding variety of opportunities to study and engage with other cultures. Nearly half of Duke undergraduates study abroad and, in turn, scholars and students from more than 100 countries come to Durham to study. The flagship DukeEngage program offers undergraduates an intensive civic engagement experience abroad as well as in the United States.
