Duke's world-class faculty, including those from Duke's nine professional schools, teach and mentor both undergraduates and graduate students in the classroom and through research projects, independent study and internships. Many of Duke's faculty members also engage in interdisciplinary studies, reaching beyond traditional academic boundaries to address complex questions in new ways and better prepare their students to confront the intellectual and social challenges of tomorrow.
