audio Beginning at the moment in 2001 when American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center, the carillon at Duke Chapel chimed six times -- once for each of the four plane crashes, and once for the collapse of each World Trade Center tower. Later in the morning, the carillon chimed six times in honor of six Duke alumni who perished. 8:46 a.m.
