DURHAM, N.C. – Seventh-ranked Duke hosts No. 5 Boston College Saturday in the Blue Devils' regular season home finale at Koskinen Stadium. Saturday also marks Senior Day for the program's eight seniors, who will be honored at the conclusion of the game. During the game there will also be a silent auction featuring signed men's and women's lacrosse items to benefit the Meg's Smile Foundation.

Boston College Series History
Duke and Boston College will square off for the 13th time in program history Saturday ... The Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 11-1 ... Duke is 4-0 historically when facing the Eagles at home in Durham ... Boston College earned its first win against the Blue Devils last year in a regular season meeting in Newton, Mass.

Last Time We Met
Kelci Smesko netted three goals and Makenzie Hommel added two but Duke came up short in a 10-9 loss to the Eagles Apr. 6, 2013 in Newton, Mass. ... Boston College outshot the Blue Devils 20-13 and won the draw by a 14-7 margin in the back-and-forth affair ... The Eagles also finished with an 8-4 advantage in ground balls while limiting Duke to just one free position goal on the afternoon.

Duke vs. the ACC
The Blue Devils are 41-31 all-time in conference regular season games ... The Blue Devils are 2-2 this spring in ACC play with wins against Virginia (March 22) and Virginia Tech (March 9) and losses to Maryland (March 1) and Syracuse (March 29) ... Covie Stanwick (23g, 21a) paces the offense with 44 points while Mikaela Rix has totaled 43 points (33g, 10a) ... Stanwick ranked third in the conference in assists entering the week ... Rix leads the team at the draw with 38 draw controls ... In goal, Emily Mata owns a goals against average of 9.66 and a .329 save percentage. 

Scouting the Blue Devils
Duke (8-4, 2-2 ACC) topped High Point by a 10-9 score in non-conference action Wednesday ... The Blue Devils are ranked seventh in this week's IWLCA Coaches Poll ... Junior attacker Kerrin Maurer guides the offense with 37 goals and 24 assists while junior Taylor Trimble is second on the team with 31 points (25g, 6a) ... Returning All-American defender Taylor Virden leads the way in draw controls (45) and caused turnovers (16) ... Sophomore goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea, a second team All-America selection last spring, owns a 9.97 goals against average and a .445 save percentage in the net ... Duke's balanced attack is outscoring opponents by a 174-118 margin ... The squad ranked seventh nationally in total points (237) and ninth in scoring offense (14.91 gpg) entering the week. 

Last Time Out
Duke outscored High Point 8-5 in the second half and controlled the draw down the stretch to earn a 10-9 victory over the Panthers Wednesday evening in High Point, N.C. ... The Blue Devils rallied from a halftime deficit, using a late 4-0 scoring run to ease past High Point ... Junior Kerrin Maurer led the way offensively with five points on two goals and three assists while classmate Taylor Trimble registered her fifth hat trick of the season ... Senior Taylor Virden and junior Gabby Moise guided the Blue Devil defense with two caused turnovers each.

Against Ranked Opponents
Since the 2008 season, Duke is 42-41 against ranked teams ... The Blue Devils have lost just seven times to teams outside the top-10 in the past six years ... The squad went 5-5 against ranked opponents in 2013 ... Duke is 1-4 against ranked foes this season following last weekend's 19-15 loss to No. 3 Syracuse.

Saturday Marks Senior Day at Koskinen
The Blue Devils will recognize their eight-member senior class at the conclusion of Saturday's contest ... Katherine Fraile, Maddy Morrissey, Sydney Peterson, Molly Quirke, Sophia Sourlis, Tara Stokes, Emma Tucci and Taylor Virden have guided Duke to a 49-22 record over their four seasons ... The class of 2014 has also led the program to one appearance in the national semifinals and two trips to the NCAA quarterfinals.

Trimble Reaches 100-Point Milestone
Junior midfielder Taylor Trimble became the 21st player in program history to reach the 100-point milestone last weekend against Syracuse ... The Rosemont, Pa., native added three goals in Wednesday's win over High Point to move her career total to 103 ... An IWLCA All-South Region second team and All-ACC selection last season, Trimble has amassed at least 30 points in each of her previous two seasons and is on pace for a career-best output this spring.

Maurer Quarterbacking the Offense
Junior attacker Kerrin Maurer is once again one of the Blue Devils' most dependable playmakers up front ... She leads the team this spring in points (61), goals (37) and assists (24) and ranks second in draw controls (37) ... The Setauket, N.Y., native ranked second in the ACC and seventh nationally in points per game entering the week ... Maurer was also third in the conference in scoring at 3.18 goals per game and ranked seventh nationally in goals.

Virden Quick on the Draw
Duke is 6-1 this spring when winning the draw controls category ... Senior defender Taylor Virden has been scrappy on the wings, leading the team with 45 draw controls ... She ranked sixth in the ACC in draws entering the week ... Virden won a career-high six draws last season against Vanderbilt (March 2, 2013) and matched that total with six against Virginia (March 22) ... The Ellicott City, Md., native moved into second on Duke's all-time list for career draw controls last weekend and owns 167 over her four seasons.

Scoring Streaks
Junior Kerrin Maurer has tallied at least one point in a career-high 18 consecutive games dating back to last season ... The Setauket, N.Y., native has scored multiple goals in all 12 games this spring and recorded multiple assists eight times ... Sophomore Kelci Smesko (13 games) is also in the midst of career-long scoring streak.

Maurer, Virden Moving Up Career Lists
Senior defender Taylor Virden and junior attacker Kerrin Maurer provide veteran experience at both ends of the field ... Maurer paces the Blue Devils in points, goals and assists this season and currently ranks fourth in program history in career assists (83) and 11th in career points (180) ... Maurer reached the 100-point barrier and topped the 50-assist milestone as a sophomore last season ... Virden leads the team in draw controls and caused turnovers in 2014 and ranks second all-time in career draw controls with 167 ... She reached the 100-ground ball mark for her career against Virginia (March 22), becoming the 26th player in Duke history to achieve the feat.

Duryea Tops 200-Save Mark
Sophomore goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea, a second team IWLCA All-American last year, reached the 200-save plateau against Virginia Tech (March 9) ... The netminder from Beverly, Mass., has 93 saves this season and 237 for her career ... She currently ranks sixth on Duke's all-time saves chart and joins Shannon Chaney (1997-00) and Meg Huether (2003-06) as the only goalkeepers in program history to top the 200 career saves mark in their second season.

Reaching the Perfect 10
Since 2010, the Blue Devils are 62-10 when scoring at least 10 goals in a game ... Duke is 1-18 in that span when held to fewer than 10 scores ... This season, the squad has reached the 10-goal mark in all 12 games while going 8-4 in those contests.

Home Sweet Home
The Blue Devils have been tough to beat at Koskinen Stadium in recent years ... From 2007-13, the program notched a 54-11 record when playing at home, including 10-0 marks in 2007 and 2011 ... Duke is 5-3 at home this spring.

One-Goal Games
