Duke Rowing Opens Tryouts for Novice Team

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke University Head Rowing Coach Robyn Horner invites all female students to try out for the 2012-2013 rowing team.

Never rowed before? Don't worry. No prior rowing experience is necessary; just a desire to be physically fit, compete, and a willingness to learn this new amazing sport!

Duke Rowing is a top-25 ranked team. Our current varsity team is made up of athletes who rowed in high school, but also walk-on athletes who have learned the sport for the first time during their freshman year. This could be you!

We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and athletic women with an interest in joining a group of successful athletes. You will be taught everything else you need to know about this incredible sport.
