Ellenbogen Named to NGCA All-American Scholar Team

DURHAM, N.C. - The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) has released its All-American Scholar Teams with Duke University rising senior Courtney Ellenbogen receiving accolades. 

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.50.

Ellenbogen, a product of Blacksburg, Va., is a three-year letterwinner with the Blue Devils.  She has appeared in 27 career tournaments at Duke, while posting two top 10 and six top 20 placements.  As a junior, she netted a season-best performance at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate with rounds of 74, 76 and 72 for a total of 222, which was tied for 16th. 

She is an economics major and currently holds a 3.715 grade-point average.
