Beck to Play in the Ladies' British Open Amateur

DURHAM, N.C. - Duke University rising junior Laetitia Beck will compete in the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship from June 26-30 at the 6,563-yard, par 72 Championship Course located at the Carnoustie Golf Links in Carnoustie, United Kingdom. 

The Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship will feature 36 holes of qualifying on June 26 and 27 followed by match play action from June 28-30.  A total of 144 golfers will open qualifying on Tuesday.

Beck, who is a native of Caesarea, Israel, is coming off finishing her sophomore season where she posted a 74.97 stroke average, had three top 10 finishes and five top 20 placements.  She is a two-time All-ACC selection and was the 2011 ACC Rookie of the Year.
