Duke Chapel Concert Season 2021–2022

This year, Duke Chapel is offering a robust schedule of concerts and recitals from beloved favorites like Handel’s Messiah and the Organ Recital Series to new offerings such as Guest Artist Concerts.

In presenting the series, Chapel Dean Luke A. Powery and Chapel Music Director Zebulon M. Highben explain:  "Our programming this year is best summarized by the paradoxical theme of our Spring Oratorio concert, Remember and Rejoice. We create space to mourn and to remember. But we also add our voices to the glad refrain of those who have gone before us, singing our way into a future filled with hope."

See the concert season schedule.

The next concert is an organ recital on Sunday, November 7, at 5:00 p.m. by Dr. Andrew Scanlon, associate organist and choirmaster at the Church of the Advent in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Scanlon will play music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Nicolaus Bruhns, Pierre Cochereau, and Joseph Jongen on the Flentrop and Aeolian organs. Admission is free. See more.
