Parking, Transit Routes Adjust for MLK Day

Only the CCX will be in operation

Most Duke transit routes will be adjusted in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday on Jan. 18. 

The only transit route in service will be the CCX, using the holiday scheduleVan Services will also operate on a normal schedule.

For employees who park in remote hospital lots and use H2, H5 and H6 transit routes, Parking Garage I, Parking Garage II, Parking Garage III and Research Drive Garage will be available for complimentary use on Jan. 18 from 12:01 a.m. to midnight. 

Employees should access Medical Center garages as follows:

  • PGI – Use Flowers Drive entrance and exit
  • PGII – Use Elba Street entrances and exits in the alley nearest the Civitan Building
  • PGIII – Use bus loop entrances and exits
  • Research Dr. Garage – Enter from Research Drive

University customers will be able to access most lots on campus. Parking Garage IV will have limited availability due to a special event.

Duke's Parking and Transportation Services offices at 2010 Campus Drive and Duke Clinic will also be closed Jan. 18 and will resume regular hours on Jan. 19.
