Parking, Bus Routes Adjust Over Holidays

Changes will last from Dec. 14 to Jan. 10

Duke Parking and Transportation Services will adjust its transit schedule and parking lot availability during winter break, from Dec. 14 to Jan. 10.

During Duke’s winter break, most hospital bus routes will maintain regular service. The C1 bus route will not be available during this time and the CCX route will discontinue service at 9 p.m.

No transit services, including van services, will operate on Christmas or New Year's Day, and there will be no weekend campus service until all routes return to their regular schedule Jan. 11. Duke Vans will operate an adjusted schedule on weekends. A full list of bus schedule adjustments during winter break is available here.

Parking availability on campus during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays will also be adjusted as follows:

Normal parking operations will resume in PG1, PG2, PG3, Research Drive Garage and most gated surface lots on Saturday, Jan. 2.

PG4 will have complimentary parking on Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, except for times when special events occur. During special events, fees will be charged for parking. The regular parking schedule will resume on Saturday, Jan 2.

The 2010 Campus Dr. and Duke Clinic parking office will be closed on Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1. The offices will resume their regular schedules on Monday, Jan. 4.
