Access to PGI from Flowers Dr. Limited in November
New parking management system being installed
Phase one for the installation of a new parking management system in Parking Garage I near the School of Nursing is complete, and work on the second phase will limit access to the garage from Flowers Dr. during November.
Work from the Trent Drive entrance/exit to the garage is complete, and the lanes are fully operational on the new parking system. A step-by-step guide of how to use the stations can be found in this video.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 2, work will begin on the entrance/exit lanes on Flowers Drive. Construction on Flowers Drive is expected to last through late November, but at least one lane will be accessible at all times.
The majority of work will be done during non-peak periods of the day in order to minimize delays at entry and exit points. Staff will be on site to screen entering vehicles for a valid permit until installation of the new system is completed.
