“What have you done to save black lives?,” Los Angeles-based activist Patrisse Cullors asked audience members during a sold-out appearance Wednesday evening in Page Auditorium. Cullors is co-founder of #BlackLIvesMatter, which began as a hashtag on Twitter and has since expanded to become a broader campaign against police brutality. Cullors challenged audience members to combat racism wherever they encounter it, saying “I’m here to push you to the front lines.”
