Neal Wins National Mentoring Award
Mark Anthony Neal is being honored by the American Studies Association
Duke professor Mark Anthony Neal is being honored by the American Studies Association.
Neal, a professor of African and African-American Studies, will be the fourth recipient of the Richard Yarborough award, given annually by the association’s minority scholars’ committee. The prize was established in 2012 to honor scholars who excel in mentoring.
Neal will receive the award during the association’s annual meeting in October in Toronto.
