Giving Back Over Spring Break

Instead of taking a trip or visiting the beach like many of their friends, some Duke University students spent their spring break volunteering in the Durham community. During the week off from school, they volunteered at eight organizations that address hunger, homelessness and poverty. The alternative break program called "Dive into Durham" was organized by Duke's Community Service Center.
