Last week, Coach K celebrated 1,000 career wins after his team beat St. John’s, making him the first division one men’s basketball coach to reach 1,000 wins.

A symposium in honor of producer Shonda Rhimes began this week with a screening of her ABC primetime shows. The screening was followed by panel discussions on black womanhood.

If you’re a student looking for free grub on campus, there’s a hashtag for that. The DukeStudents account is tweeting #freeFoodAtDuke with details on where to go.

Visiting artist Simon Verity is re-creating the head of an angel statue this week at Duke. Check out the Facebook album for his real-time progress.

Finally, the Duke Campus Farm continues to grow. The number of employees has grown from 2 to 8, and the farm’s new manager hopes to increase education and engagement.
