Holiday Gift Shopping – on Campus

Retail stores across campus offer unique options for friends, family

If you’re counting down the days until the final holiday gift shopping opportunity, know that you can skip malls and save time – and money – right on Duke’s campus.

With locations spread across East, Central and West campuses, Duke Stores offers a wide variety of unique products for Duke fans, art aficionados and animal lovers Duke Golf Club is even offering a deal on lessons for the golfer in your life.

“Our goal is to make sure we provide a wide variety of gift ideas that be brought home for any member of the family,” said Jim Wilkerson, director of trademark licensing and stores operations. “We know this time of year can be as busy, so we hope faculty and staff can use the convenience of finding great presents right here on campus.”

As a bonus, Duke community members can use a special discount through Dec. 17 when Duke Stores offers 20 percent off clothing and gift items – with some exclusions. The sale takes place at the University Store, Medical Center Bookstore, Duke Team Store, Terrace Shop, Nasher Museum of Art store, Provisions at Duke Integrative Medicine, Divinity Bookshop and the East Campus Store.

Shoppers can also find bargains by visiting the Newly New Shoppe in the Hock Plaza parking garage at 2424 Erwin Road. The store sells gently used, donated items to raise money for scholarships for medical and nursing students at Duke.
