Traffic Advisory: Duke’s LaSalle Street Extension
No through traffic allowed during construction; building access not affected
Motorists traveling near the Snyderman Genome Science Research Building (GSRB) may need to detour from normal routes this week as construction takes place immediately outside the GSRB driveway to repair a portion of South LaSalle Street.
Access to the roadway leading to Chiller Plant #2 will remain open from the north side of construction, closest to the LaSalle Street-Erwin Road intersection. Duke community members and visitors in need to access the driveway to GSRB can enter south of roadwork by taking Circuit Drive to LaSalle Street.
There will be no through traffic during construction, which will take place between 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 5 p.m. Oct. 26, weather permitting.
