Three Duke Bus Routes Adjust for Fall

C2, H2 and H5 routes change bus stops and schedule

With the academic year set to begin, Parking and Transportation Services will restart its normal Duke bus schedule Aug. 18.

All routes will return to their normal schedule, with several route/schedule adjustments also taking place this fall:

C2 and Central Campus Express (CCX) change schedules

At 9 p.m. weekdays, the C2 bus route will revert to the CCX route, with service to stops across East, Central and West campuses until 2 a.m. Monday to Friday and 4 a.m. Thursday and Friday.

On weekends, campus will be served by the C1 and CCX, not the C2 route. The CCX will run from 8:30 a.m. Saturday to 4 a.m. Sunday morning, then again from 8:30 a.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Monday. The C1 route will maintain its normal hours.

H5 route adjusts stops

The H5 route will move its West Campus service from the Chapel Drive bus stop at the main quad to a stop along Flowers Drive behind the Allen Lot, near an entrance to Sarah P. Duke Gardens.

In addition, the H5 will also serve Towerview Road and Circuit Drive in order to serve students near the Fuqua School of Business, Duke Law School and Sanford School of Public Policy. The change isn’t expected to impact travel time for H5 buses, which run in intervals of about 15 minutes.

See this map or schedule for details.

H2 route removes stop

With three stops along Yearby Avenue, the H2 route will remove its mid-block, eastbound stop by the H Lot. Passengers can now get on or off the H2 bus at the Yearby-Anderson or Yearby-Flowers intersections.
