Duke in Pictures: We Throw a Block Party

On an unseasonably cool and pleasant August night, several thousand Duke students, staff, faculty, alumni and neighbors shut down Chapel Drive outside of Alumni Affairs for the traditional start of the year Forever Duke Block Party. With student musicians performing music, partygoers enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, popcorn, ice cream and drinks.
