The Forum for Scholars and Publics will host a watch party Thursday at noon for soccer fans interested in watching the U.S. Men's National Team take on Germany.
The event is free and attendees are invited to bring a lunch. The U.S. game will be displayed on one screen, while the Ghana/Portugal game that runs at the same time will be shown in an adjacent room.
The United States can advance to the World Cup's elimination round with a win or tie against Germany; it can still advance with a loss under a convoluted series of circumstances involving the Ghana/Portugal game that fans are invited to discuss while watching the game at the forum's west campus headquarters at 011 Old Chem.No RSVP is necessary.
