Exploring the Intersection of Energy and Peacebuilding through Film

Sophomore Phia Sennett and Librarian Liz Milewicz have conducted a year-long project of compiling and editing footage of the effects of Nigeria's oil supply from United Nations. Also working with the Nicholas School of the Environment, the two are trying to raise awareness of the effects of Nigeria's oil inudstry on violence in the area and the environment,particularly the Niger River. Phia's work is among the many undergraduates who conducted researcha and presented their projects at the Visible Thinking showcase for undergraduate research.
