Durham, NC - Are you proud of how you've decorated your room? Take a picture and share it in the #MyDukeRoom contest on the Duke Student Instagram account.

#MyDukeRoom is the first theme in our "My Duke" Instagram campaign, designed to encourage students to share their unique Duke experience through social media.

Students can upload pictures of their rooms on Instagram and Twitter and include the #MyDukeRoom hashtag in order to be eligible to compete. They will also need to follow @DukeStudents on the social network where they post the picture.

Four winners will be chosen, one each from East Campus, West Campus, Central Campus, and off-campus. They will have their rooms featured on official Duke University social media accounts and receive Duke blankets to further jazz up their accommodations.

Judges include Jenn Chambers of the Duke Alumni Association, a former set designer, the Duke's social media team, and Molly Swyers, senior vice president of Design + Communications at 21c Museum Hotels.

Future "My Duke" themes may include favorite places to study, selfies with professors, and more. In preparation for these themes, students are advised to keep their smartphones or cameras handy should inspiration strike.
