Employee Forum to Focus on Health Care Changes

September 26 event to be held in Griffith Theater

Headlines about federal health care reform appear nearly daily in the news, but what impact will these health care changes have for Duke employees?

Find out at the next Primetime employee forum September 26 when Kyle Cavanaugh, vice president of administration, will discuss the impact of health care reform and employee benefits. Tom Owens, chief medical officer for Duke University Health System, will join Cavanaugh to discuss how national health care reform will change the delivery of care for providers.

The event is from noon to 1 p.m. in the Griffith Film Theater on the lower level of the Bryan Center on West Campus.

Duke community members who can’t attend in person can watch the forum online via live webcast from the Primetime website.

Duke employees are encouraged to submit questions for Cavanaugh and Owens to answer during the event. Faculty and staff can submit questions at hr.duke.edu/primetime. The Primetime format and live broadcast will also offer a chance for employees to ask questions during the event.
