Tommy Sowers graduated from Duke in 1998 where he studied Public Policy Studies and took Tony Brown's course on Leadership Development and Organizations.He is currently the Assistant Secretary for Public and Intergovernmental Affairs (OPIA) at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
