Survey to help transit officials better understand commuting behaviors

print |

Durham, NC - Whether by car, bus or bike, Triangle Transit wants to know how you get to work.

Duke faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in an annual survey administered by Triangle Transit to learn more about local commuting behaviors. In exchange for their time, employees who complete the survey will be entered in a drawing to win a $25 Target gift card.

The survey, available through March 8, will help shed light on what the daily commute is like for Duke employees. The survey consists of multiple-choice questions. Participation by Duke community members may help lead to new or improved alternative transportation programs and reduce congestion and harmful emissions in the region.

Responses and comments are confidential and used only to help improve programs to meet commuters' needs. The survey can be accessed here.

For more information, contact Duke Parking and Transportation Services by emailing tranpark@duke.edu or calling (919) 684-3640.
