Bryan Research Garage Repairs Begin Feb. 9

Crews will replace water-damaged ceiling tiles

Following last month's flooding of the Bryan Research parking garage, work will begin this weekend to replace damaged ceiling tiles in the garage.

Crews will perform work only on Saturdays and Sundays over the next two weekends - Feb. 9 and 10, then Feb. 16 and 17. The garage will remain open to permit holders, but some spaces may be blocked off during those weekends while work takes place from about 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

In order to minimize impact to Duke community members and visitors, all spaces should be available during the work week. Motorists should use caution when driving through the garage and avoid parking in work areas.

On Jan. 18, water flooded the the Bryan Research Building after a 16-inch diameter water main located under Coal Pile Drive broke.
