Student Reports Being Robbed Off-Campus

The incident occurred on Campus Walk Drive off LaSalle Street Monday evening

Durham, NC - A Duke graduate student reported being robbed on Campus Walk Drive off LaSalle Street at 6:20 p.m. Monday. The student was leaving his apartment when two men hit him and took his wallet and cell phone, according to an alert sent to all students by Duke Police.

The Durham Police Department is investigating this crime and working to identify the suspects.

Duke Police suggest to students that they plan ahead when traveling at night, travel with others, be alert to their surroundings, and report suspicious activity to the police. Call 911 if you need assistance.
